Money was disappearing and people were being tricked at Downing Street today. Then the magicians arrived. I was working there with pickpocket James Freedman for the chancellors tea party in aid of Every Disabled Child Matters. It was a great party with loads of celebrities including Phillip Schofield, the old bloke who judges Strictly Come Dancing and Ian Beale’s wife. I also got chatting to a very attractive lay-dee.
